From October 8 – 13, Resonans Fringe Festival brings forward a curated selection of poetry performances, concerts, panels, book presentations, exhibitions and other offerings. Click on each day here, or scroll below:

DAY ONE: RESONANS IS HERE

The festival opens with a reception at RED DOOR (2-6 PM), featuring readings by key poets like Lalo Barrubia, Pita Ochoa, and Dominic Williams, and the book release of RED DOOR’s special edition anthology of the festival.

The evening continues with an open mic session at La Fee Verte, with guest poets from Ireland, Wales, Mexico, Uruguay and Sweden, a live performance by The Poet Bastards, and an invitation for you to share your work (all languages welcome). Learn more here.

DAY 2: MULTILINGUAL, MULTICULTURAL, MULTIMEDIA

Worldthreading at Literatur Haus for a day of cultural dialogue and artistic exchange. Highlights include a discussion on Miserabilia with Jonas Ellerström and Elizabeth Torres, the multilingual launch of Nattedagbog / Journal of the Night, and performances by Tomás Gubbins, set against exhibitions by HG Madsen and Kirsten Reynolds. DAY 3: Art Walks and Concerts

Today we invite attendees to explore visual and auditory art, with exhibitions like PRIMAL RESONANCE at Showroom Figur and FEED at Red Door.

For the lovers of experimental music, enjoy a 3 set concert at Art Lab 21.

The day culminates in an evening of live music at Stengade, featuring DJ Christian Pallin and MAG and THE TREMOLO BEER GUT rocking the night. Show me.

DAY 4: KULTURNATTEN:

Start early with exhibitions and film screenings, or record your poem at the Poetic Phonotheque feature at Ark Books. Learn more.


Then, time for KULTURNATTEN! Resonans er OS transforms Møllegade into a vibrant artistic hub, featuring art exhibitions, film screenings, and performances, including live bands and international DJs, creating an unforgettable night of cultural expression.

DAY 5: The Bound Beat Bookfair

Time for the tangible! Book collectors, this is your day. The Bound Beat Bookfair at Literatur Haus brings together independent publishers, authors, and readers for a day of live readings, panel discussions, and performances. Notable participants include Stephen James Smith, Pita Ochoa, and Claus Høxbroe. Read more.

DAY 6: NATURE & CULTURE – Int. Poetry Film Fetival at EMPIRE

The festival concludes with the Nature & Culture: International Poetry Film Fest at Empire Bio, showcasing a curated selection of experimental films, poetry films, documentaries, short films and animations that explore humanity’s connection to nature. The day includes director talks and performances. These films will also be available online from October 12-19. Learn more here.
